My name is Indy. I'm a Boxer/American Staff mix, up to date on all vetting, spayed, house trained, crate trained, and I walk very well on the leash. I would be a great jogging partner, since I love to run! I am obsessed with tennis balls and will play fetch until I am worn out. Also, I love water so going to the dog park or just running in the sprinklers is the best fun I can have!
I am incredibly smart and will do anything for a treat! I adore chew toys, balls and squeaky toys. I get along with most dogs as long as they are nice to me. I do NOT like cats.
I am protective of my owner, I don't like strangers coming up to my person! Ideally, I need a home with a strong "pack leader" to help me put my protective nature to proper use.
Please contact info@aarfhouston.org for more information about this dog or to schedule a meet and greet. You can apply online by clicking on Application . Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet and greet at one of our adoption events. Thank you for considering a rescue!

AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation, no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
