The embodiment of love, Kade is everything you could ever need or want in a perfectly furry companion. Eager to please, intelligent, and so very sweet, this boy loves to cuddle and is happiest curled up right next to you.

Kade is great with other dogs (having lived with a pack of Chihuahuas) and would probably do best in a home with a little fur-sibling of his own. He is experienced with cats and, while never aggressive, certainly wishes they would pay him some attention and maybe go for a round or two of tag. Kade is quiet, but will alert you to visitors. He is gentle on the leash and does not bark or pull while walking or jogging. This boy is not shy and will shower almost any person in love as soon as he meets them.

Kade is love and, as such, loves to be loved. At just over 6 months, be prepared to offer tons of affection and engage in lots of play time. A family with an older child(ren) would suit Kade wonderfully. He is just about completely housetrained and prefers to spend his time outside of a crate.

Please contact  app@aarfhouston.org for more information about this dog. You can apply online by clicking on Application . Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet and greet at one of our adoption events. Thank you for considering a rescue!

More about Kade

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

The adoption fee includes vaccinations, Bordetella, de-worming, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip. There is a an additional $12.99 fee for Home Again for a lifetime registration of the microchip.

Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old.

It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.

NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others.

AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation , no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
