Hello, my name is Atlas and I am searching for a loving family to call my own.  I was found walking the streets of a community when my foster mom took me in to love and take good care of me.  I might be young but I am a very good pup.  I love my crate for naps and especially bed time which I sleep all night long while quietly listening to music.  The music tells me it is my time to relax.  I am house trained and will go to the door when I need to go potty.   I have a large size older foster dog brother who loves to play with me.  I love my toys to play with solo when my foster brother tires out.  I eat good, love walks and some play time.  But I also like to slow it down and relax... soo not the bouncy or yippy kind of dog.  I am doing well with Basic Training thanks to my foster mom.  I know sit, down, house for crate, and working really hard on stay.  My foster brother is trained so there are all sorts of training commands used constantly for us.  I love training and the treats are the best.

I love children and anyone I meet.  I socialize with everyone while on our walks or who visits at my foster home.  I am still a teething pup so tiny nips want to occur but my foster mom has been working really hard these past few weeks to stop that behavior.  I am doing so much better but I still slip up occasionally then my foster mom is quick to correct the behavior and I listen.  I am proud of all I am learning while being with my foster mom.

I am ready for a family of my very own!  If you are interested in meeting me, please contact the rescue or come to an adoption event where I hope to see you.

Please contact  app@aarfhouston.org for more information about this dog. You can apply online by clicking on Application .

Puppies that are under 4 months old cannot be adopted outside of our Veterinary Service area.  Please call for specific locations.

Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet and greet at one of our adoption events.  Thank you for considering a rescue!

It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.

Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation , no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
