Meet Nathan! How could anyone resist those beautiful eyes?! He is definitely one handsome little kitty. He is the closest thing to a dog you will find in a cat! He is easy going and friendly. Loves to cuddle with both fur and foster family, and love, love, LOVES to play. He is curious and full of energy until its nap time, which happens about 8-10 times a day. Nathan has taken to the litter box right away so no worries there. He also does very well with both his sister, our resident cat, and dog because he hasn't met an enemy yet. He has a sweet but goofy personality and will keep you laughing which is helpful in working off that corona virus 15! Nathan is a good mix and would make a great addition to any home.
Puppies that are under 4 months old cannot be adopted outside of our Veterinary Service area. Please call for specific locations.
Children under 8 years old often are not a good match for our puppies and dogs. In order to protect both, your child and our rescued dogs/puppies from harm, we seldom if ever adopt to families with young children.
Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet and greet at one of our adoption events. Thank you for considering a rescue!

It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.
NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others.
AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation, no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
