My name is Pinto. I was 5th born of my litter on March 29th at 9:27am. I am a male, born white with large tan spots and now I’m mostly white/cream with tan markings. My mom was a stray found at a soccer park; we don't know what my dad is like, but my mom is a terrier mix that is about 25 pounds. Look at my growth chart and milestones below. Check back often for updates and new pictures.

4/24 - I am a curious puppy that is just learning to walk and wrestle with my littler mates. I started teething this week as well.
5/9 - I started eating soft puppy food about 1-1/2 weeks ago and I'm loving it! I was just about the same size as my sister born just after me and now, I am the littlest of all my siblings (some might say the cutest!)
ADOPTION FEE: The adoption fee includes vaccinations, bordetella, deworming, rabies, Microchip including a lifetime registration and spay/neuter.
PUPPIES
Texas State law requires that we sterilize any animal adopted through this agency. This will normally occur between 5 and 6 months at one of our approved veterinarians at the expense of the rescue.
Children under 8 years old often are not a good match for our puppies and dogs. In order to protect both, your child and our rescued dogs/puppies from harm, we seldom if ever adopt to families with young children.
Approval:
You will be notified via email once your application is approved. Once notified, we will schedule a meet and greet at one of our approved locations. Thank you for considering a rescue!

The adoption fee includes vaccinations, Bordetella, de-worming, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip. There is a an additional $12.99 fee for Home Again for a lifetime registration of the microchip.
Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old.
It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.
NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others.
AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation, no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
