Hi, I am Lucky Boy! Thank you for visiting my profile! I am looking for a furever home and I hope that's you!

My previous owner had come into some hard times and had to give me up for my own wellness. But I am happy in my new foster home and Love my foster mom and her Grandma, Grams calls me her "little lamb"

I am very smart, loyal, and very well-behaved, my foster mom says I am one of the sweetest dogs she has ever known. I love back scratches ( I love to wiggle on my back in the yard)! I love to sleep in as long as my foster mom is still in bed. I am happy to sit next to my human or lay on the bed ( I have it all to myself then) to nap. I get along with my Foster Dog brother and Foster Cat siblings pretty well! I am pretty much crate trained I have no problems even napping in my crate and I am definitely potty trained.

My foster Mom says I am Hypoallergenic which means I do not shed. I do need a spa day every now and then to Groom my coat, Right now I have a big backyard but would do good in an apartment as long as you give me walks!

In Closing, I would like to say you would be "Lucky" to have me in your home so please consider making me a part of your family!

Please contact  app@aarfhouston.org for more information about this dog. You can apply online by clicking on Application .

ADOPTION FEE:  The adoption fee includes vaccinations, bordetella, deworming, rabies, Microchip including a lifetime registration and spay/neuter.

PUPPIES   Texas State law requires that we sterilize any animal adopted through this agency.     This will normally occur between 5 and 6 months at one of our approved veterinarians at the expense of the rescue.

Children under 8 years old  often are not a good match for our puppies and dogs.   In order to protect both, your child and our rescued dogs/puppies from harm, we seldom if ever adopt to families with young children.

Approval:  You will be notified via email once your application is approved.  Once notified, we will schedule a meet and greet at one of our approved locations.   Thank you for considering a rescue!

The adoption fee includes vaccinations, Bordetella, de-worming, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip. There is a an additional $12.99 fee for Home Again for a lifetime registration of the microchip.

Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old.

It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.

NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others.

AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation , no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
