I am a great boy, who has been through alot. My guardian angel, Anne, saved me from certain death. Since I am a APBT, I wouldn't have had a chance at the pound. She took care of me until she could get me to AARF, which is where I am now. I had a foster family, but I ended up having to go back into boarding.
I am finished with my heartworm treatment, but I have a dislocated hip, so hopefully I will have that done soon. The nice rescue people are working hard to get the money to help me with my leg. So if you can spare a little for a good guy, I can repay you with tail wags and kisses! Even more than that, I need a foster home or forever home where I can recouperate. I'm up at the vets right now. It's ok, alot better than being at the pound! But I really want my own home or at least a place to rest my head while I am waiting for surgery and healing from it. So how bout it? Help a good guy out? If you can spare a couple of dollars, you can go to the online store and purchase a sponsorship. I would really appreciate it!
* Harley was housebroken but after being moved from boarding in Corsicana to a foster home in Texas City to a vet in Houston, he has started having accidents. He just finished his heartworm treatment plus being in pain are taking a toll on this poor guy. We believe with a steady environment and good schedule, he will start going potty outside again.

Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old.
It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.
NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others.
AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation, no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
