Epic is the perfect name because she is truly awesome. She is a brown and white border collie mix. She wandered into my life two months ago, started playing with my nieces and nephews and stayed. Now she needs a permanent home with a loving family or an active individual. Someone who can take her to her full potential.

Epic is a sweetheart. She loves everybody. People, other dogs, cats, everybody. She will need some supervision with small children (toddlers) because she gets so excited. Also, she doesn't like other dogs coming up when she's being petted. There's no fighting just some growling. She will sometimes pee if she is nervous or overexcited. She does know to go to the door when there is a need but a dog door would probably be the best for her if possible. She doesn't have much of an interest in toys but loves bones, pig ears, and raw hide treats.

She loves to be outside and exploring. She is extremely intelligent and loves to learn. She would be outstanding in agility and fly ball as she is lightning fast and loves to please. She is crate trained and loves it since it is her safe place. She is not a digger or a chewer and is extremely quiet inside the house.

She is spayed, current on all shots, heartworm negative and on preventative. I have all of her vet records in order. Please fill out an Application and we can schedule a meet and greet either at one of our adoption events or a home visit. Epic lives with me in Dayton, TX so anyone living within 100 miles of Houston, TX would be great. Once again, she is an amazing dog and would be a brilliant addtion to the right person's life.

Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old.

It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.
