Scooby was found at 5 weeks in Melrose Park with a Broken leg. The surgeon said the break was consistent with being kicked. Scooby went to 3 doctors before he finally found one that wanted to save his leg. After painful sugery and pins in the bone to hold the leg together, Scooby is healing.
It will be a long road for him, he is undergoing physical therapy. The break was just under the growth plate and the growth plate was cracked. Only time will tell if it will heal properly, but Scooby doesn't let this get him down.
He is a happy going, lovable guy. Smart, fun and loves kids. He is a great guy with a great attitude. Scooby is looking for his forever home.

Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation, no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
