*update* tiny was adopted and just recently returned by no fault of his own. His family split up leaving his world a little confusing and not much time for him. So he was returned. Tiny is so very loving. He wants to be held and sit in your lap. He does very well with dogs of every size but becomes a little protective over the lap he chooses. He is under weight at this time weighing just 1 pound 8 ounces but is eating very well. His pictures don't show how tiny he is because he is a deer Chihuahua and has very long legs. I was told he loves children and he does well in the car and on a leash. He also uses the doggy door.
Story behind this little guy: "Tiny"
Back in the begining of Feb when it was snowing and ice on the ground, this little boy along with 2 of his brothers and their mom were dumped on a front porch in nothing but a laundry basket to find warmth and food on their own. Being that they were only about 2 weeks old at the time it is a miracle that they made it! They are all doing wonderful and looking for their furever homes! This little guy is the runt of the litter, and he is very sweet and calm. All he wants is love and attention. Once you see him you will fall in love!!
Please contact app@aarfhouston.org for more information about this dog or to schedule a meet and greet. You can apply online by clicking on Application. Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet and greet at one of our adoption events. Thank you for considering a rescue!

It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.

AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation, no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
