Ready....get set...GO!!!!
Piper is an 9 month old lab/heeler mix (we think!) with lots of energy, and always ready to go! We know for sure she is adorable! She was picked up as a stray and was quickly making her way to the euthanize list. From the minute she was rescued she has been a sweet, fun girl. Playful and loving. Once introductions are made, she quickly starts playing with other dogs. Loves people!
She is crate trained and goes to the back door for potty time. Smart little gal who will be a quick learner. She gets along great with her foster siblings, who range from 7 pounds to 50 pounds! Like all puppies, she has a LOT of energy and needs ways to burn that off! Piper would do best in a home with another dog to be her fur-brother or fur-sister, or a human to keep her active. She is also one of the best snuggle buddies her foster mom has had! Once she is done playing, it's time for nap!
Do you have an active family? Then Piper is your gal!!

Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old.
It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.
NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others.
AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation, no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
