Hello Everyone!!!! Let me start out by saying I'm one very lucky little gal. My foster mom saw me running along the highway and quickly swept me up just in time. I almost got hit by two different cars. Oh, I shudder to think of that day!!! Well, those days are behind me now.
Not much is known about me since I was a straving stray when I was found. My foster mom did get me spayed and vaccinated. Oh, she also had me tested for heartworms and I'm happy to report I came back negitivel. Now, I get a Heartgard Plus once a month because we all know heartworms are nasty little things and bad for our health.
I'm not 100% house broken, but I'm getting better. Sometimes I sniff the other furbabies blankets here and potty. Trust me, I'm really working hard to stop that. My foster mom puts a puppy pad down for me at night and I'm such a good girl and potty on the puppy pad.
There are no small children in my foster home so my foster mom has no idea how I would get along with children. Same goes for cats. :)
I do get along with Hank, Alice and Potter. They are my foster siblings. Now, there are a few other dogs here my foster mom would not put me with. Not that I would be mean to them, but they may not care for my excitment. For example, when it's time to eat, go outside or come back inside I get so exicted that I bark and jump all over Hank, Alice and Potter. You see, they don't care. They just look at me like, 'WHATEVER', but if I were to act like that around Moose, Bruce or Sammy those three boys wouldn't tolerant it. So, if I get adopted and there is already a dog in the family they would have to be laid back just like Hank, Alice and Potter. Gee, I just love those three!!!
My foster mom and listed her email address below and if you should have any question please feel free to email her.

Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old.
It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.
NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others.
AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation, no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
