Blu is a handsome, smooth operator, and you will definitely fall for those big blue eyes! His DNA showed Lab/Pit/Great Pyranese/chihuahua and bichon frise! What a mix! Blu loves playing with all dogs, big and small. Loves kids but doesn’t know how strong he is. He has not been around cats yet. He’s like a kangaroo as he loves jumping, so he needs some training, and a very patient, active, loving family to call his. House broken, crate trained. He’s full of energy so he needs an active family. He loves his neck rubbed while laying on the bed watching tv...his favorite movie is Beethoven. He loves scrambled eggs cooked in peanut butter on Sundays too! He gets very vocal if someone new comes in the house, or rings the doorbell. He has gorgeous ice blue eyes, and will love you to the moon and back! Not absolutely necessary but he’d love another dog to pal around with! He is timid and skiddish when meeting strangers, and is vocal but once he gets to know you, there’s nothing shy or timid about him, he loves everyone! Blu would love a furever home, and you’ll love Blu

Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old.
It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.
NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others.
AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation, no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
