Hi there I’m Lucy, I am a spunky, playful, and loyal puppy who is looking for a family to call my own. I have never met a person I didn't LOVE (even the vet). My favorite things to do is play tug-of-war, wrestle, chase, and chew on toys with my other foster siblilings. And in case you were wondering my favorite toys are sqeaky toys and tennis balls. I am also really good on car rides especially when my foster rolls down the window and my ears get to fly in the wind. Another thing I love is water I am a true water dog everytime my foster turns on the hose I get so excited I try to catch all the water in my mouth. I have never been around a pool but my foster thinks I would be a really good swimmer. I am potty trained, leash trained, and crate trained. I also Know how to sit and come when called. I am pretty much all you could ask for in a puppy I’m obedient, well manored, friendly, loyal, and overall just the life of the party. So what are you waiting for fill out an application so I can meet you! I am looking for a family who can provide me with some good back scratches and belly rubs in exchange for a lifetime of love.
My story: My fur mom was found alone and pregnant on the main streets of houston. Shortly after rescued by AARF Houston she delivered 7 puppies including me! Then when I was old enough I went to my fosters house where I am now. And I've been told that the next step is finding a furever family... could that be you?

It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.
NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others.
AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation, no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
