I am Toby! What more do I have to say? I am an adorable Chihuahua/ Miniature Pinscher/ Hound mix puppy. Most of my siblings look like Chihuahuas, but I am unique. I am supersmart, I know that I am not supposed to potty in my crate, so wait for my foster mom to let me out so I can find the potty pads.
Recently, we have been able to go outside for short breaks in the sun - I love exploring the yard with all the other dogs. The big dogs watch out for us and make sure we are safe. I especially like to snuggle with my buddy Taz. Taz is a big strong boy who loves to play with me.
I play pretty hard, although I don't mean to hurt, I bite when I play. So, I am not a good dog for a family with young children who could get hurt by accident when I play.
I am not going to be very big. I know I will love you to the moon and back if you give me a chance! Call my mom and setup a playdate!

Toby must be adopted with his brother, Cocoa 10 (adopted).
The adoption fee includes vaccinations, Bordetella, de-worming, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip. There is a an additional $12.99 fee for Home Again for a lifetime registration of the microchip.
Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old.
It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.
NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others.
AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation, no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
