I’m still single and available? Not sure why, because I am quite the catch, and not in the least biased! I’m great, handsome, loveable, I can curl up like a pretzel in bed, I mean who doesn’t love a guy like that? Peace out ==
Brad is truly a special boy, and through no fault of his own, he needs a new home.
He was adopted when he was 3 years old. He is a retired show dog. Full blooded English Pointer, no papers.
He’s great with kids, and some other dogs, especially little ones. Brad is very affectionate and just wants love and attention. Unfortunately, He doesn’t realize his size and thinks he’s a lap dog, so older kids best.
We want the best home for him. He’s on a special White Fish diet for allergies.
He does have frequent ear infections due to those droopy ears, but manageable.
When he is outside, he likes to chase butterflies and stare at squirrels. He prefers the indoors, doesn’t like rain or excessive heat or cold…he prefers air conditioning and heat in the winter, lol. He will counter surf if given the opportunity. Picture number 1 is him thinking he can hide his big self in my bed Won’t you consider this sweet boy? He will be a very loyal and loving member of your family
Puppies that are under 4 months old cannot be adopted outside of our Veterinary Service area. Please call for specific locations.
Children under 8 years old often are not a good match for our puppies and dogs. In order to protect both, your child and our rescued dogs/puppies from harm, we seldom if ever adopt to families with young children.
Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet and greet at one of our adoption events. Thank you for considering a rescue!

The adoption fee includes vaccinations, Bordetella, de-worming, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip. There is a an additional $12.99 fee for Home Again for a lifetime registration of the microchip.
Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old.
It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.
NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others.
AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation, no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
