If you ask my foster mom, I am simply precious!

I have figured out the doggie door and am working on potty training.   I get distracted sometimes and still have an accident once in a while.

I am a beautiful, loving girl who enjoys being in the yard where I can inspect every inch of the various pots and corners of the yard.   An occassional butterfly catches my attention and off I go as fast as I can to catch up.

I was lucky to find AARF Houston when I did.   I was so very sick that I needed an expensive blood transfusion due to bad diet, I was badlyanemic.   I also had a fungus and mange on my tummy.   My foster mom fixed that with medicine and a good diet.   I am a super healthy now.   My hair is gorgeous black with super cute down my back.

I am looking for my forever home where I will be part of the family.

ADOPTION FEE:  The adoption fee includes vaccinations, bordetella, deworming, rabies, Microchip including a lifetime registration and spay/neuter.  

PUPPIES   Texas State law requires that we sterilize any animal adopted through this agency.     This will normally occur between 5 and 6 months at one of our approved veterinarians at the expense of the rescue.

Children under 8 years old  often are not a good match for our puppies and dogs.   In order to protect both, your child and our rescued dogs/puppies from harm, we seldom if ever adopt to families with young children.

Approval:  You will be notified via email once your application is approved.  Once notified, we will schedule a meet and greet at one of our approved locations.   Thank you for considering a rescue!

The adoption fee includes vaccinations, Bordetella, de-worming, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip. There is a an additional $12.99 fee for Home Again for a lifetime registration of the microchip.

Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old.

It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.

NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others.

AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues.
