Emily is a lap dog. She wants to follow you from room to room. She loves for anyone to pick her up and give hr attention. She is very happy when sitting next to you or lying in your arms.
You can apply online by clicking on Application or you can complete the attached application in Word whichever is easiest. Once your application has been approved, we can schedule a meet and greet.
The adoption fee is $150 which includes 3 puppy vaccinations, Bordetella vaccination, de-worming, rabies and spay/neuter. The rabies and spay/neuter will be done at the same time by our vet once they 3-4 months old. If you prefer your vet give the rabies shot and do the spay/neuter, the adoption fee is $100. We would need proof of this once it is completed for our records.
There is a $50 deposit on puppies that have not been fixed yet. Once you provide us with proof of the spay/neuter (either by our vet or yours), you will receive your deposit back or we can send you a receipt to deduct from your taxes as a donation.
Please email us if you would like to meet Emily by Thursday night so we can make arrangements for them to be there as we are unable to have every dog at every adoption event.

It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.
NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others.
AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation, no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
