This litter of 7 puppies was in a field in a subdivision by The Woodlands Mall. A couple of the neighbors contacted us about trying to catch mom and pick up the puppies before the weather got bad or the coyote got them. Luckily we were able to trap mom fairly quickly. Momma is only about 40 lbs but daddy was definately a black lab. Mom looks like she has some German Shepherd but is a lot smaller.
Bella is the only one left from this litter. She was adopted but was returned because the son ended up being allergic. She is house trained with a doggy door. If for some reason she can't get outside to go potty, she does use a puppy pad. She is very playful. She gets along great with all of the other dogs in her foster home. She is very food motivated and smart so will be easily trainable.
The $150 adoption fee includes the puppy shots, de-worming, microchip, rabies and spay/neuter.
They are too young to be fixed or to get their rabies shot so there is a $50 deposit. You schedule an appointment with our vet for the spay/neuter and rabies shot and he will bill us for these. Then you send us a copy of the Sterilization Certificate and we will return your deposit. There is a $10.99 lifetime registration fee to HomeAgain for the microchip.
If you are interested in one of these puppies, please complete our online application.

The adoption fee includes vaccinations, Bordetella, de-worming, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip. There is a an additional $12.99 fee for Home Again for a lifetime registration of the microchip.
Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old.
It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.
NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others.
AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation, no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
