My name is Micah. I was born around November 2010. I am a Pit Bull. I was living with my family in an apartment. Then one day they left and did not come back. No one knows how long I was left in that apartment by myself but it seemed like forever. I did not have any food or water. Luckily, someone finally realized I was there. They called animal control to come pick me up. I was there for a couple of days before the rescue lady came to get me. Boy was that scary. My foster mom says my hair will grow back in a couple of weeks. I lost it because I was so scared and covered in fleas. She also said I needed to gain a bunch of weight. I only weigh 23 lbs but should be closer to 40 lbs. UPDATE: My hair is alsmost all back in and I have already gained 10 lbs. Everybody says I am one handsome young man.

I am house trained and crate trained. I love going for walks and car rides. I enjoy lying in the sun and playing with the other dogs in my foster home. The $150 adoption fee includes vaccinations, Bordetella, vet check, de-worming, rabies, neuter and microchip. There is a $10.99 fee to Home Again for a lifetime registration of the microchip.

Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old.

It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.
