Sparkle is a spaniel mix - possibly a King Charles Cavalier spaniel mix.  Her estimated dob is 2006.  We will never know if Sparkle got lost from her family or if she was abandoned.  But one day foster mom was sitting in the front yard and Sparkle ran right up and jumped into her lap!  She was so friendly that foster mom just knew someone would be looking for her but no one ever did!    But that is ok because now Sparkle can be a wonderful addition to a family that will always keep her safe!  Sparkle is a happy girl with a beautiful face!  She is a sweet, loving girl who enjoys sitting in your lap.   But don't let that fool you - she is also very active and loves to run and play with toys!!   And if you aren't able to play with her, she will toss a rope toy in the air and play by herself!  Sparkle gets along fine with other dogs and has played with smaller dogs and medium size dogs up to 45 lbs.  She should be ok with cats also.  She does fine on a leash and is always excited to go for a walk.  Sparkle is cratetrained and housetrained.

Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old.

It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.
