Miss Mary is what they call me but my fosrter mom calls me sweetness. I thought I had been forgotten when I lost my family and ended up on the street. I don't know how long I was hungry, lost and lonely until they found me and 1 of my puppies.
We went to the vet and got all of our shots. The Dr told me I have heartworms but that with meds I will be just fine. My foster mom makes sure I get my meds. I don't mind them as long as she puts them in a little wet food. Since I had a family once, I am house trained and crate trained. I don't chew things I shouldn't.
I am working on walking on the leash. Some one dragged me with a leash so I'm still a little scared but am doing better each day. I just want a full time family I can love and protect.
Sweetness was dumped with her son and daughter at a church in Arcola. Miss Mary is a very gentle dog. She was someone's pet before ending up on the street. In 4 days she has made great progress. Its like she is so grateful for being cared for. She is house broken, crate trained, not food aggressive, re-learning to walk on a leash. She is so very gentle. Please contact Michelle at 979-203-3007 orinfo@aarfhouston.org for more information about this dog or to schedule a meet and greet. You can apply online by clicking on Application. Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet and greet at one of our adoption events. Thank you for considering a rescue!

Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation, no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
