My name is Lancelot and I am looking for my "furever" family. I was pulled from animal control when I was just a pup and I was suffering from a horrible injury. I needed immediate medical care. Both of my back legs were broken above the knee and both of my femoral heads on my back legs were fractured. I had been in this condition for approximately 2 months before I was picked up by animal control. I had been surviving on the streets for 2 months without the use of either of my back legs. I went through 8 1/2 hours of surgery at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists. Dr. Benjamino did a wonderful job of fixing my legs. After the surgery, I went to a wonderful foster home where my foster mommy did physical therapy everyday with me so I could regain the use of my legs. I am all better now and ready to find my very own family. By the way, I am potty trained, leash trained and crate trained. I am not a big barker, I like to let you know when I have to go potty by wagging my tail! I currently live with my foster family and get along great with 2 foster puppies and 2 adult doggies. I am a nurturer and always play daddy to the puppies. And can you believe that my foster mommy has a squirrel that I am friends with too?! I sure hope my " furever" family is out there and I can hardly wait to meet them!
If you are interested in this wonderful little guy who has a strong will to live and loves everybody, please contact Cindy at info@aarfhouston.org or you can call Lancelot's foster mom @ 832-803-4218 for more information about this dog or to schedule a meet and greet. You can apply online by clicking on Application. Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet and greet at one of our adoption events. Thank you for considering a rescue!
