Sweet Dixie spent very sadly 4 months locked up 24/7 at the shelter. Her sweet heart had been overlooked for a long time and her time was just around the corner at the shelter, if you know what I mean. Fortunately, I decided to bring her home and save her from being euthanized.

Sex: Spayed female
Age: 1-2 years old
Microchipped!!
Never been pregnant
Temperament: Shy around adult males and very outgoing around women, children and other animals (dogs/cats); likes to be petted. Great guard dog and she will bark if she hears a stranger outside!!!! She is quiet and keeps to her self. Likes to spend time with people and mostly in her kennel resting. LOVES to play with my other dog. Never gets angry.
GREAT with children!!!! Very trustworthy :)
Minimal shedding!!!!! YAY!
Has been Vetted multiple times, latest Friday November 30 . Perfect health.
Fully vaccinated
Heartworm Negative
House and crate trained
Loves outdoors and indoors! Tennis balls are a must in her life :)
Will not whine at night when put in crate to sleep.

She is looking for a furever home, a family that will never abandon her, will care for her and love her always.
There is nothing wrong with her and she deserves the best.
Her adoption fee is only $25! Reason is because she is coming through the shelter and is considered a "long-term". Her adoption fee includes all her vetting, vacines, heartworm for the month, dewormed, microchipped, spayed!!! She needs stability and lots of love.
