Allie is a young girl @ appx 14 months old. She has had 1 litter. She weighs about 12 pounds. She has the long legs and lean body of an Italian Greyhound and the head/face of a Chi.
She is adorable. She is ‘lithe’. She walks on a leash very well.
Allie is an Alpha female and tries to dominate. She bonds very quickly with females. Have not seen her interact with men yet, however she was said to do quite well with another foster. (male)
Allie loves to burrow under the covers at bed time. She does not like a crate. She is spoiled. (I know… I shouldn’t, but, she is irresistible with her charm.) She’s a ‘love pig’ insisting on your undivided time and attention. She uses a doggie door and will potty on the paper if necessary.
Please contact info@aarfhouston.orgfor more information about this dog or to schedule a meet and greet. You can apply online by clicking on Application . Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet and greet at one of our adoption events. Thank you for considering a rescue!

It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.

AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation, no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
