They should have some dog experience. Should read about the breed to know more about them but she is a very mellow one.
Charlotte is a fun and silly little girl. A real sweetheart and a bit of a couch potato. Loves to watch TV, cuddle, go for a walk, run or whatever you are up for.
She is housetrained and crate trained. She has been a real pleasure to have in the house. She is laid back and mellow, happy just to sit and chew on a bone or give you a famous Bull Terrier Kiss and Nibble on the ear, (very cute). So far has not made a mess or chewed on anything but her bone. She entertains herself by tossing a ball the air.
She is not possessive over toys or bones. Very smart - will "sit" for a treat
She has a game of doing a happy dance where she run around the house for 5mins or less. I think she just so happy to be a alive and not living on the streets anymore. Then she is all pooped and just wants to hang with you.
A yard is not necessary for her. She would do well in an apartment and would make a great dog for a older couple, but as a Bull terrier, she needs to have Obedience work. They need to have a leader in their life. Please read about the breed. Charlotte is on the very calm side of the breed, but is not recommended for a family with young children!
Charlotte has a flea allergy and therefore must always be on Flea Preventative.
Charlotte should be an only dog. She did snap at one of my dogs but my dog did growl at her first.
Please contact info@aarfhouston.org for more information about this dog or to schedule a meet and greet. You can apply online at www.aarfhouston.org/forms. Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet and greet at one of our adoption events. Thank you for considering a rescue!

It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.

AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation, no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
