My name is Ruby Jean and I am looking for my furever home! I am an extremely  sweet, loving girl that lives to play fetch  and  give kisses. I’m 4 and half years old.

I am crate trained, place
trained (stay on my pillow when told), leash  trained, potty trained, and treadmill trained. (it's true... my foster momma has whipped me right into shape on that thing)!!

This also means I would make a great running dog!  My foster mom says that some of my best qualities are that I barely shed or drool, so your furniture and floors are safe with me!!

My foster momma also says I am truly a beautiful diamond in the ruff, I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THAT DIAMONDS RUFFED LIKE ME! HOW COOL! I am patiently waiting to find a home that will provide me with plenty of daily exercise and lots of love and attention.

I love my humans so much that I don't like to share them.   I do like other dogs but am rather selective in my friends.  I can't tell the difference between small dogs and cats and my squiky toys. So please no cats.  I love children, but prefer to be in a home with only adults or respectful older children.  I recently spent two whole weeks with a trainer to make sure I have the best manners for my furever family and I can't wait to show off my tricks! I would be super excited if you would continue my training, too!

My foster mom says that somewhere out there is the perfect family for me that will love me for everything that I am! I hope this is true! Will you by my furever family? Pretty please! I promise to always love you and be your best friend!

The adoption fee includes vaccinations, Bordetella, de-worming, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip. There is a an additional $12.99 fee for Home Again for a lifetime registration of the microchip.

Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old.

It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.

NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others.

AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation , no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
