My name is Orion, I am almost a 6 month old puppy. My mother was hit and killed by a car when I was only 5 weeks old. She was just out trying to get food for herself and puppies. Good Samaritans found out where we lived and came and saved us. We were living in a backyard in bad conditions. It was really hot and we didn't have any water. There were chickens, roosters, other injured dogs, and another litter of puppies. Our bellies were huge full of worms. The nice people nursed us back to health and now we at healthy and ready for forever homes.
I currently live with my foster mom and dad and 3 other pitbulls (2 females, 1 male) I get along great with everyone I meet! I love going on walks, I'm slowly learning to walk nicely on lead. I sit when I'm told, I know "off" if I jump up and not supposed to. I know "down" with a treat :) I get in my crate with the command "kennel". I sleep through the night in my kennel, but cry when I have to go to the bathroom. I love to play and be cuddled! Please give me a forever home!
These adorable puppies are brothers and best friends! They nap together and play together. Orion likes to be close to people and is very rambunctious. Atlas will often get tired of playing and go lay down somewhere quiet to sleep while Orion will continue to play. They are both great with my 1 year old daughter and my 6 year old son (and all of his friends that like to come over to play with the puppies) They also get along very well with my adult female Corgi.

Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old.
It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.
NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others.
AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation, no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
