Ms Roxy is a sweet lovable, cuddly girl. She is just waiting for her perfect family to come along and appreciate what a treasure she is.
Roxy was adopted as a small puppy by a family that didn't have time for her. She was tied up in the back yard and left to entertain herself. Poor nutrition led to a terrible case of demodex mange. Poor baby Roxy lost all of her hair.
She came to AARF Houston just in time. She was given a nutrious diet, lots of love and proper medication for her condition. Roxy is now a young lady with a full coat of beautiful Brown/Red and white hair. She loves to talk
Roxy loves all of her foster brothers and sisters and plays well with even our 6 week old foster siblings. She loves to ride in the car. She tolerates being in a crate when necessary, but would prefer being by your side doing what ever important task you are doing. She loves to play ball, with soft toys and loves to cuddle.
Roxy can be an only dog, although she would prefer having a friend to keep her company while you are at work.
Roxy had a genetic problem with her back legs. She has just undergone Bi-lateral FHO surgery, which means her hip bones never fit in the Pelvis joint.
Roxy also had surgery to fix her knees. All healed! Ready to go. Nothing holds this girl back.

AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation, no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
