Meet Beau! He is a friendly and happy puppy who is full of energy. He loves running in the yard, playing with toys and other dogs. His tail never stops wagging and he is happy to see everyone. He is sweet andlikes to cuddle when it is nap or bed time. He is pretty well behaved for a puppy but still has some mischievousness about him. He is such a great puppy! He gets along well with other dogs (large and small) and cats and is great around children… as he is still a puppy, he does get a bit mouthy at times. Heis somewhat crate trained as he doesn’t mind being crated with his siblings but there will obviously be a period of adjustment when he has to be crated alone. We are currently working on potty-training. Beau is very sweet with a relaxed personality; it is very easy to fall in love with him. He is a Catahoula mix and is currently 7 pounds at 2 months old, but he is obviously still growing. Beau would do well in a home with other dogs and children to play with. If you want a dog that is happy, full of energy, and ready to play with you and your family, Beau is the dog for you.

Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old.
It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.
NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others.
AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation, no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
