Meet Hope! She is a friendly and happy puppy who is full of energy.  She loves running in the yard, playing with toys and other dogs.  Her tail is always wagging and she is always happy to see everyone.  She is sweet and likes to cuddle when it is nap or bed time.  She is well behaved for a puppy but still has some mischievousness about her.  She is such a great puppy! She gets along well with other dogs (large and small) and cats and is great around children… as she is still a puppy so she can be a bit mouthy at times.  She is somewhat crate trained as she doesn’t mind being crated with her siblings but there will obviously be a period of adjustment when she has to be crated alone.  She is almodt fully potty-trained.  Hope is very sweet with an endearing happy go lucky personality; it is very easy to fall in love with her.  She is a Catahoula mix and is currently 26 pounds at 4.5 months old, but she is obviously still growing.   Hope would do well in a home with other dogs and children to play with.  If you want a dog that is always happy, full of energy, and ready to play with you and your family, Hope is the dog for you.

The adoption fee includes vaccinations, Bordetella, de-worming, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip. There is a an additional $12.99 fee for Home Again for a lifetime registration of the microchip.

Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old.

It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.

NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others.

AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation , no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
