Hi! My name is Boots and i'm looking for my furever home! My foster mom says I have a big heart, big paws, and that i'm just an all around big cuddly baby. She even nicknamed me Rockaby Bootsy because when she cradles me like a baby in her arms I start falling asleep right away! It's just so comfortable I can't help it! I love to run and play although I am still learning how to get around on these big feet of mine without falling. My favorite toys are the ones that squeak and the ones that roll, but i'll play with anything if it gets another dog to play with me! I was sick for awhile as a puppy after my brothers and sisters and I were found in a ditch, but now that we've been rescued I feel so much better! I'm finally learning what its like to be an energetic and carefree puppy and I love it! I can't wait to meet you, so go apply for me already!!

Please contact  app@aarfhouston.org for more information about this dog. You can apply online by clicking on Application . Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet and greet at one of our adoption events. Thank you for considering a rescue!

The adoption fee includes vaccinations, Bordetella, de-worming, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip. There is a an additional $12.99 fee for Home Again for a lifetime registration of the microchip.

Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old.

It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.

NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteer's experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others.

AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation , no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.
